In this section we'll give you all the tools and info you need to get prepped to solder! We know this is one of the most intimidating parts of installing pickups, so we're going to break it down and show you how to do it right

WARNING: The facility should be properly ventilated, you should wear safety glasses at all times while installing your pickup. Do not use all lead-based solder. We recommend 60/40 rosin core solder. Please use caution when using a hot iron and make sure all smoke alarms are operational. An unattended soldering iron increases the risk of fire and serious injury.
